PORTFOLIO

I have created successful training programs for diverse audiences, ranging from corporate clients to graduate students to senior citizens. I invite you to explore these recent examples of my e-Learning courses.

How to Avoid Phishing Scams for Seniors
This e-Learning course grew out of my experience volunteering as a computer skills instructor for senior citizens at the Lenox Hill Neighborhood House. While working with the participants in the classroom, I determined that there was a serious need to empower them to recognize and avoid phishing scams. This e-Learning course provides the learners with interactive examples and exercises and can serve as a reference when completed. I have made it available to the community at the Lenox Hill Neighborhood House.

Developed with Articulate Storyline 2, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Audition.

Office Orientation
I designed and developed this interactive office orientation for an
E-Learning Heroes Challenge. In that week's challenge, we were asked to try our hand at creating a course that didn't rely on the standard "Next" button. I used variables in this project to drive the navigation of the course based on the user's completion of activities. The learner is given a virtual tour of a fictional company's office, and then is immediately given a knowledge check to see if they can remember their new colleagues and where they sit.

Gagné's "Nine Events of Instruction" for
e-Learning Designers

This is an interactive job aid for e-Learning designers that I created for an E-Learning Heroes Challenge. That week, the challenge was to create an interactive course or reference that outlined what e-Learning designers need to know about Robert Gagné's "Nine Events of Instruction". I used animation, markers, and multiple Storyline slides to offer the learner a progressive experience through the nine events.

Developed with Articulate Storyline 2 and Adobe Photoshop.
